You may know that I lost my dear Cayley Anne a few weeks ago in a tragic situation. She used to hang out below the piano, running around growling as I played. When I stopped playing to correct her, she'd sit, and I'd give her a treat. She turned every situation into a game. Without her, my life is different. I love roses. Yellow roses in particular hold special meaning to me, because I remember them growing in my grandma's garden. I also remember the rose from Le Petit Prince with her thorns and attitude. Roses are like that but so lovely at the same time. Being that my creativity lights up when I over dramatize a situation, I wrote a song about it. It is called Stubborn Rose. Stay tuned!
